I am Stanley Roubaix, a British producer and filmmaker focused on independent cinema and practical low budget production. I produced the feature film Teddy and the Mountain, where I also served as director and writer, overseeing the project from development through distribution. The film reflects my interest in character driven storytelling and small scale productions that create meaningful, human stories.
Earlier in my career I produced and directed several short films including Amos 3:5 and Void, projects that helped establish my approach to independent filmmaking and hands on production. My work also includes commercials and branded content, alongside short form documentaries created for companies such as Earth Breeze.
As a producer, I focus on building films from the ground up. I work across development, financing, production, and release, often within micro budget environments where resourcefulness and collaboration are essential. My aim is to create distinctive films that prove compelling stories can be made outside the traditional studio system.
